Auntie Anne and Uncle Roland from Texas visited our house to see their nephew Ryan. I was very happy to see them again at our place. We are going to the fishing trip to the Cannon Beach area tomorrow with two families from our church and Anne and Roland are going to join us! Yay! It will be very nice to spend some time with them. :-)

Ryan was also happy to see grandma and Grace today. :-)

Ryan was wearing grandma's sunglasses! Looking great, Ryan! lol

MY 30TH BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Jason and Kyu got me a blackberry phone as my 30th birthday gift.
What a great gift!!!
Thank you so much! I love it!!

Lance did it again this year. What a surprise... We went to one of our church members' house for our worship team meeting on my birthday and as soon as I walked in their house, everyone was like..."Surprise!! Happy 30th Birthday!!" and then sang the birthday song to me. I was speechless and looked at Lance and he was like, "Happy Birthday, sweetie!" Well, he knew, of course, and planned a whole thing with church members without me knowing. My 30th birthday was very memorable! :-) Thank you, everyone!

PICTURES TO SHARE~

My days are getting busier every day with Ryan, church activities and other things~ Making baby foods is time consuming too but very rewarding when I see Ryan eating well. He makes sounds like 'hmm~hmm~~hmm~~' when he sees his food and gets very excited. :-) Ryan doesn't give me time to update my blog these days but just wanted to share some pictures of us while he is taking a nap. @.@
Enjoy your day, everyone!

VISITING MY FATHER-IN-LAW'S CEMETERY...

My father-in-law passed away on August 19th last year. Our family took a train to Tacoma to visit his cemetery. I can't believe it's been a year since he passed away. I think about him from time to time and wish he was here with us and able to spend time with Ryan. I know he would have loved Ryan so much! Dad, we miss you!!!

These are the pictures of Ryan's first train ride to Tacoma! :-)

MEETING WITH MY FRIEND, EN SUN~

My friend, En Sun brought me a baby food recipes' book from Korea and this will be really helpful when I make Ryan's food!! Thanks, my friend~!
Ryan & En-Sun! :-)

WE GOT A BOAT!

Lance got a fishing boat last Wednesday (08/12/09). I was against buying a boat for a long time because of the cost and the storage issue, but he really wanted it so I said, 'yes' at the end. I am not proud of it, but our dead grass provided a perfect parking spot for the boat we bought. ;;; Well, this is Lance's biggest toy he's ever played with and hope he enjoys it. Now we just need to eat twice a day instead of three times a day to make up the cost for a while...JUST KIDDING! lol

These are the pictures from today when we went fishing in the evening.
He caught a big sturgeon!

RYAN HAD A GREAT TIME WITH GRANDMA!

My mother-in-law visited us for a couple of days (08/05-08/08) and spent time with Ryan.
Ryan loves being with his grandma and smiles at her all the time. He knows how much she loves him. :-) Last Saturday, we went to Korean community event at Delta Park in Oregon and Lance's soccer team won at the tournament. Yay!
Hope she visits us again soon! We all love you~~~!! :-)

LIFE WITH OUR NEW CHURCH!

We went to the church retreat last week and Lance was asked
to be a M.C. for the talent show!
He did a great job! :-)
The weather was so hot, but we had so much fun!
Lance had fun fishing with all guys including our pastor at night time. :-)

Everyone was very surprised that our six-month old, Ryan did very well throughout our stay. It was two nights and three days program but we only stayed one night so Ryan wouldn't get too tired from the trip. He was such a good boy!!
This was taken on August 1st in the morning. When I nurse him, he always puts his legs on my leg or tummy...I guess it gives him comfort or something. So cute~
Also, when he farts, he lifts his legs very high and let it out! lol
He makes me laugh all the time! (well, most of time I should say. ^^;)

We've been very involved with our church group and we are blessed to meet such great people at our new church. Our Pastor Choi and his wife are awesome and they are the one of main reasons why our church is growing so strong and healthy. Church members care about each other a lot and help each other when needed. We are very glad to be a part of such a great church.
I pray our faith in God will grow with this church and Ryan will be His son who knows and believes Him in his heart more than anything else in the world as he grows up.
