RYAN LOVES COLORFUL MOBILE!

Now that Ryan can see things and enjoy colors, I switched the mobile that came with the swing with the one in his portable crib since he spent more time in the crib.
I am glad I did that because he just loves it!!!

Ryan loves playing with daddy!!

RYAN'S TWO-MONTH FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT!

Today Ryan had his two-month follow-up appointment.
We stopped by Lance's work to say 'hi' to show Ryan to his daddy and went to his appointment.

Well, he weighed 12.94 lbs and was 23 1/4 inches tall. His was in the 75th percentile for weight and was between percentile 50 and 75 for height. That means his weight and height are way above average!! Yay!!!! I was so happy and relieved to see that numbers since he was born so small. Now I just need to keep doing what I've been doing and make sure he stays healthy and happy. :-) I love you, my prince!!

RYAN LIKES TO TAKE A BATH!

My mom's been enjoying giving Ryan a bath lately since he started liking it. He is so calm when we give him a bath, and he sleeps much better after taking a bath.

Ryan's hands and feet are very chubby and cute.
Take a look at his cute hand! :-)

RYAN IS TWO-MONTH OLD NOW!

Yesterday Ryan became two-month old (8 weeks!). I was happy that I survived those two months. lol When I went to my 6 weeks follow-up appointment, one of nurses told me that being a mom was the worst and the best job we could ever have and it is so true. It's the worst job because I am physically exhausted all the time, but it's also the best job ever for many reasons, which I can't even begin to describe with words.
I thank God for watching over Ryan for two months without being sick. He is so much more fun now, and I am amazed by his ability to communicate with a growing repertory of coos, smiles, and unique cries to express his different needs. He shows his emotions in many ways and when he is happy, anyone can easily tell he is happy; he smiles, laughs and makes various sounds. I think he has had two or three growth spurts so far and during that time, the only thing he wanted to do was 'EAT, EAT, and EAT!'
My little angel is so precious and we enjoy watching him growing every day!!!:-)

RYAN HAD A BUSY DAY!

Today I had a doctor's appointment (postpartum check-up) so I decided to take him to our office to show him to my co-workers on the way since they've been almost begging me to bring him in. lol My mom came with me so I was able to make the trip. Considering others usually brought their babies within a month, I am a lazy mama. lol He was sleeping during our visit so I took pictures of him when we got home when he was wide awake and sent them to my co-workers who saw Ryan today.
After my appointment, we took him to Lance's work and looked around the office and showed Ryan to his co-worker as well. My midwife Lindsey, who delivered Ryan, said she couldn't believe how big he has gotten over last seven weeks and told me I was doing a great job nursing him. lol I was a proud mama today!!! Our Ryan has his two month follow-up appointment next Friday and I can't wait to take him for his check up. :-)

LOOK AT RYAN YAWNING!

Ryan was in good mood this morning when he woke up.
He played by himself for a long time without asking to be held.
He makes a funny (&cute) sound when he yawns, and we think it's the cutest thing ever. lol
BTW today, Ryan is 51 days old! ^0^

My little boy is growing every day! :-)
