LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW...

We got lots of snow over the weekend.
Since Thursday our area has been snowy and windy, which caused icy roads everywhere. We stayed inside since Friday evening and not surprisingly, our church service was cancelled today so we slept in and when we got up around 1 pm, we decided to go out and enjoyed some snow time. Lance got some work to do while I was enjoying snow. lol

It was beautiful (but cold lol) outside, and I haven't seen this much snow for a long time.

Maybe Lance was having too much fun?? lol
Last Friday (late) night, we both wanted to eat some steak (this doesn't happen a lot),
so we had a nice feast. :-)

BTW I am at my 35 weeks! Five more weeks~~Yeah~~
We can't wait!!! >.<

BECOMING PARENTS!

Lance and I took a birthing class, a breastfeeding class and a newborn care class. In my second trimester, my midwife told me to look into those classes and I was debating whether I should them or not and if do, what type of classes I should take. Well, I decided to take all classes recommended since I felt that it's better to be prepared/informed than not. I am so glad I took all three classes because they were very informative and fun! Lance attended all three classes with me and I am so proud of him. He is a ready Daddy for Ryan!! :-)

We have another project going on these days, which is Flat Stanley!! It's Junior (our nephew)'s school project and it was sent to us, so we have to keep a journal to show his school what Flat Stanley did while visiting us... and so on. We decided to take some pictures along with the journal to make it more interesting for his class. Who said being uncle or aunt was easy? lol

More so being parents requires lots of time, work and sacrifice and we are slowly learning what that means to become parents, hopefully good parents. :-)

WALSH BABY SHOWER!

My company gave me a great baby shower yesterday (Friday, 12/05/08). Kelley and Anna coordinated my baby shower and Tram, Emmy and Alisha helped them set up and prepare everything for my big day. I can't thank enough to each of them! I wore the dress my mom sent me from Korea a few weeks ago
and got so many compliments on the dress! :-)

I received so many gifts from many co-workers and from corporate and I couldn't be happier! :)Ryan's going to be so spoiled with all the gifts I received from the baby shower for sure! Many thanks to everyone who came to my baby shower and to those who couldn't make it but still gave me the gifts! I really appreciate it! I am very blessed to work with such great people! I love my company!! lol

SURPRISE BABY SHOWER!

While we were in Tacoma for Thanksgiving, I got a surprise baby shower!! Lance already planned with Jason and Kyu a long time ago and I had NO IDEA!! After church(11/30), Lance told me Kyu cooked lunch for us so we were going to Jason and Kyu's house, so I said okay. When we got there, there were a couple of cars parked on their drive way which I thought it was weird, but still didn't catch that. (I am pretty slow..lol) When I went in their house, Jason's dad was at the door and Jason told me it was his dad's birthday so I hugged Mr. Severns and told him, "Happy Birthday!!" And here comes the living room with all the decorations!!!
Kyu got me a really cute and delicious cake!!
Thanks Kyu for hosting my baby shower and for doing all the work!!!

Opening presents!!! :-)
Kyu and Jason even prepared games for everyone.
It was so much fun!!!!
I heard that Lance paid for the baby shower and Kyu and Jason did all the work and hosted my party at their place. They even got me two great gifts from my registry at BabiesRUs.
Thank you so much!!! :-)

WESTPORT! (11/28-29)

Lance and I went to Westport (WA) with mom and Junior the day after Thanksgiving, and we stayed there for one night! Here are some pictures from the trip and fish Lance caught!! My mother-in-law caught two big crabs too! :-)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This Thanksgiving, I cooked the Thanksgiving meals. Every year I just helped my father-in-law but he passed away last August. :( I got receipes from my father-in-law last year and wrote on my cook book. We didn't plan on cooking for Thanksgiving this year, instead we were going to eat just regular Korean meal, but I wanted to continue the tradition. I have to admit that it was too much work for an eight-month pregnant women to cook all that, but at the end, everyone enjoyed a lot so it was worth. We are not a big fan of turkey, so we cooked pineapple ham instead since my mother-in-law likes pork. It was my first Thanksgiving that I cooked the meals all by myself, but Lance gave me two thumbs up! :-) But I am not cooking by myself again ever! Lesson learned! lol
