WEEDS ARE ALL GONE!

On the way home from work today, Lance and I decided to pull out weeds from our yards (front and back). The weather was nice so it was perfect for us to do some yard work. We never really weeded out and it was the first time for me to even look around our back yard and see what's been growing there. lol We don't have big yards so I didn't think we would have that much weeds around our house. Well, let's just say...it was two hours of work and a great exercise. Our neighbor, Derek was cleaning his two big water barrels on his drive way and Kylie was playing outside wearing her new white glasses without lenses and new purple princess shoes. =) She loves those glasses and shoes. She followed me around and asked me to give her a piggyback. So turned out it was a great workout! lol I was pulling weeds out while giving her a piggyback. Funny!

Lance was surprised with my hard work and how much I could help him. I can honestly say I got rid of 50% of the weeds we had in our yards. Great job, Sarah! It wasn't just weeds that we got rid of...we went further and removed four small plants that came with our house when we first moved in. I never liked those plants so I asked Lance to remove those plants as well. Now we have pretty much empty yards except one big tree by our drive way (We like that one!). Now we will try to plant roses or something on our empty yards and hopefully make it all pretty.

After hard yard work, Lance got so hugry so I made him teriyaki chicken with pineapple and other different seasonings. He likes my teriyaki chicken. ^o^
I can't wait to plant beautiful flowers and other plants!! I am really bad with plants and flowers but who knows? this might be the beggining of my gardening career! lol
