WAS IT MONDAY? REALLY??

I was in the living room and heard some loud noise coming from our backyard so I looked outside of the window and there he was cutting grass in our back yard. Derek has been cutting our grass ever since we moved in because Lance is kind of allergic to grass. We really thank Derek for doing that for us. Many many thanks to you!!! We try to help each other but feel like they do more for us. Hey, let us know if you need food or a baby sitter! =)

I have to admit that Monday is my weakness. I don't like Monday, and I think that's pretty common to most people who work from Monday through Friday. (or not...lol) Well, today wasn't a normal Monday to me and yes, it's a good thing! =) As soon as we got home around 5 pm, I told Lance I didn't want to cook and that I wanted him to cook me something. And right away he grabbed his cell phone and called our neighbors, Sam and Maly and asked them what's for dinner. What a great neighbor we have, right? =) As he was talking to Sam and Maly, three of them or Lance came up with the b.b.q. dinner idea. So we prepared chicken, hot dog and other side dishes and invited them over. We told them to just come because we had enough food but they brought some marinated beef and Thai ice tea and other food. The weather was so nice so it was a great day to do the b.b.q. outside. With Sam and Maly, I always overeat because their food is SO GOOD!
Lance was in charge of cooking today and we gave him two thumbs up!! =) I loved everything, chicken, beef and hot dog!!! I, of course, overate and so did others.
Derek and Dana were going out with Dana's older brother's family so they came by and had some hot dog with bread before they took off and Kylie loved our hot dog. It had little spicy sauce on it but Dana said Kylie eats spicy food just fine and she did finish her hot dog quickly and smiled at me. =) I was glad they got to try at least the hot dog!

Lexi was outside getting ready to go out and I couldn't resist her smile so had to take a picture of her!! =)

Sam and Maly stayed for a while after dinner and guys played ping pong.

So today was Monday that seemed like Friday! Tomorrow Sam and Maly invited us to their hot pot dinner (AGAIN)! Wasn't I on a diet for the Maui trip?? Oh well, maybe from this Wednesday!! Yeah...right?! lol
